Nancy I. Voris
Born and raised on a horse and cattle ranch, this fourth generation San Diegan grew up raising and showing livestock. While earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, Nancy realized her favorite college courses were those in agricultural real estate, business management and accounting. Public accounting became Nancy’s second profession in 1990, following a twelve year career as a licensed real estate broker. Her career in public accounting has always had a focus on the taxation of families and their estate planning entities: trusts, real estate partnerships/LLCs, and the individuals associated with these entities. Nancy also prepares fiduciary accountings for trusts and estates. She is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Erin L. Voris
Erin is a 5th generation San Diegan. After graduating from Point Loma Nazarene University in 2001 with a BA in Psychology, she obtained a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and Master of Arts in Education. Erin taught kindergarten in San Diego City Schools for four years before deciding to become a CPA. She has been a California licensed CPA since 2009. Erin focuses on individual and fiduciary tax preparation and fiduciary accounting. She is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Sandra L. Kuhn-Loveall
Born and raised in San Diego, Sandy started her accounting career in 1986 when she joined her father’s accounting firm, James B. Kuhn CPA. She soon became an enrolled agent licensed by the Department of the Treasury allowing her to practice before the Internal Revenue Service. Enrolled Agents are tax law specialists in all aspects of taxes for individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates, trusts and other tax entities. She is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Melroy Kloppenborg
Born and raised in San Diego, Melroy is the cornerstone of Voris & Kuhn, LLP. Melroy joined the team in January 2010. In addition to maintaining the inner workings of the firm, Melroy has been instrumental in the loving and caring of Kincaid and Campbell Caalaman (Erin’s two boys).
